Ashley Krulik is the Community Resilience Partnership Program Manager with the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. The Community Resilience Partnership assists communities to reduce carbon emissions, transition to clean energy, and become more resilient to climate change effects such as to extreme weather, flooding, rising sea levels, and public health impacts through grants and direct support to municipal and tribal governments and unorganized territories. Prior to joining the GOPIF team, Ashley served as a Sustainability Coordinator in the City of Portland and Town of Falmouth. While in Portland she was a member of the One Climate Future project team, a partnership between Portland and South Portland to develop a climate action and adaptation plan to reach the cities’ shared climate goals of reducing community-wide carbon emissions 80% by 2030 and municipal emissions 100% by 2040. Ashley brings experience in municipal government, community engagement, regional collaboration, and marketing. She holds a Master of Science in Urban Placemaking and Management, with a focus on Sustainable Environmental Solutions, from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, Orono.
